    Justin Ryan

    Managing Partner

    Justin is a Managing Partner at Glow Capital Partners and Chair of the investment committee. Justin began his private equity career in 1997 at Catalyst Investment Managers. Prior to founding Glow, he spent more than a decade as a Managing Partner at Quadrant Private Equity. In 2003, he served as Chair of the Australian Venture Capital Association, now the Australian Investment Council.

    Since 1997, Justin has led 26 private equity investments, 20 are fully exited. Eight have received outstanding deal awards from the Australian Investment Council. Justin also has extensive operational experience, gained while CEO and Managing Director of Alesco Corporation, an ASX 200 listed company with a portfolio of over 100 industrial brands which was acquired by Dulux Corporation in 2011.

    Justin holds a number of additional board positions, including Chair of the 20 Beaches Foundation, a Not-For Profit focused on preserving and protecting Sydney’s Northern Beaches; and is a Director of Northern Territory Aboriginal Investment Corporation (NTAIC). He is also a Fellow of The Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of The Securities Institute of Australia and admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW.  Justin holds an MBA from Wharton and a BEc LLB from the University of Sydney.

  • Ben Sebel

    Ben Sebel

    Partner

    Ben is a Partner at Glow Capital Partners and a member of the investment committee.

    Ben is a senior private equity executive with a strong emphasis on positively supporting management and founders to build long-term value. He has deep private equity experience gained from leading over 20 investments across US & Australia.

    Ben was previously Managing Director at CHAMP Private Equity, and prior to joining CHAMP Private Equity, Ben was a Managing Director at Castle Harlan (New York), a leading middle market buy-out firm. Ben has also worked at Goldman Sachs in capital markets, served as a Special Adviser to the Hon. Nick Greiner AC (former premier of NSW) and started his career in management consulting at PwC.

    Ben holds a MBA from the Harvard Business School, BCom (Hons I) from the University of New South Wales, CA and GAICD qualifications.

  • Natalie Meyenn

    Natalie Meyenn

    Investment & Sustainability Committee Member

    Natalie is a member of the investment committee and the sustainability committee at Glow Capital Partners.

    Natalie has over 30 years experience in investing, financial services, economic and environmental policy, and politics.

    Natalie previously held the position of CIO and Chair of the Investment Committee at MLC Private Equity, alongside previous experience in Investment Banking with Goldman Sachs in Sydney and New York and at the World Bank in Asia, Africa and the Pacific Islands.

    Natalie has degrees in Economics, Business and History from the Australian National University and Harvard University. She has also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard.

    Kate Morris is an Investor and a co-founder of Glow Capital Partners. A pioneering Australian entrepreneur, Kate brings deep experience in digital commerce, brand building, and founder leadership.

    Prior to Glow, Kate co-founded Adore Beauty, helping grow the business from her garage in 1999 into Australia’s leading online beauty retailer.  Under her leadership, Adore reached over $200 million in annual revenue and listed on the ASX in 2020, the largest IPO led by a female founder and CEO in Australian history.

    Kate also co-founded the SaaS startup Findation, one of the world’s largest databases of matching foundation shades and continues to support the next generation of entrepreneurs as a mentor with the Startmate accelerator.

    Investment Professional

    Annie is an Associate Director at Glow Capital Partners. Prior to Glow, Annie was an Investment Manager at Anacacia Capital focused on investment opportunities with leading SMEs in the ANZ region and served as a Non-Executive Director on the board of Pump Haircare.

    Annie started her career as a management consultant with L.E.K. Consulting, having worked in both Australia and the United States on over 20 projects across both strategy and transaction support in various industries including retail & consumer products, health care, industrials, aviation and surface transport.

    Annie holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law from University of New South Wales.

    Michael McCormack

    Investment Professional

    Michael is an Associate Director at Glow Capital Partners. Prior to Glow, Michael was an Investment Manager at LVP, where he focused on mid-market investment opportunities and served as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of Adora Fertility and Simplyai.

    Michael started his career within Ernst and Young’s transaction diligence division in Sydney and New York, advising private equity and strategic clients.

    Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from Deakin University.

    Investment Professional

    Alex is an Associate Director at Glow Capital Partners. Prior to Glow, Alex was an Associate at Pacific Equity Partners (PEP), where she worked for three years. Prior to PEP, Alex was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company for two years.

    Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours, Economics) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney.

    Sandaru Kamalasuriya

    Investment Professional

    Sandaru is an Associate at Glow Capital Partners. Prior to Glow, Sandaru was a Principal at Barrenjoey Capital Partners for four years, working across Private Equity and Industrials. Before moving into investment banking, Sandaru worked in strategy and corporate development at Tyro Payments.

    Sandaru holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales, where he was active in domestic and international case competitions across strategy, innovation and finance.

    Riley is an Assoicate at Glow Capital Partners. Prior to Glow, Riley was a Founding Principal in the Corporate Finance team at Barrenjoey Capital Partners. Prior to Riley’s career in Corporate Finance, he worked across various industries, including; private equity, valuations, wealth management & software.

    Riley holds a Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics from the University of Queensland, graduating with First Class Honours.

  • Kristin Roberts

    Kristin Roberts

    Chief of Staff

    Kristin is the Chief of Staff at Glow Capital Partners, where she leads operations, oversees investor relations and provides strategic support to Managing Partner, Justin Ryan.

    Kristin brings more than 15 years’ experience in the investment industry across Australia, the UK, the US and the UAE, where she has partnered with C-Suite executives and led investor relations, events, and marketing programs.

    Prior to joining Glow, Kristin supported the CEO of Future Generation Invest, ASX-listed companies with combined market capitalisations exceeding AUD 1.1 billion, focused on both financial and social returns. She also spent four years in the Capital Markets team at private investment firm Legatum Capital and has held roles with Regal Funds Management, Lendlease, Lehman Brothers, and Macquarie Capital.

    Isabella Mortimore joined as an Associate at Glow Capital Partners. Prior to Glow, Isabella was an Investment Banking Analyst with Morgan Stanley where she received the Women in Banking Scholarship.

    Before her career in Investment Banking, Isabella worked at the Parliament of Australia as an Advisor for matters relating to the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Corporations and Financial Services.

    Isabella holds a Bachelor of Finance and a Bachelor of Economics from the Australian National University, where she was a Tuckwell Scholar.

    Operating Partner

    Sarah is an Operating Partner at Glow Capital Partners and a board member of portfolio company Delta Laboratories. She brings hands-on operating experience and deep expertise in brand building, digital commerce, and international growth.

    A seasoned founder, CEO, and board director, Sarah has a strong track record in launching and scaling iconic consumer brands. She was co-founder and CEO of bellabox, Asia Pacific’s top beauty subscription platform, and later served as Managing Director (Australia) of Supernova, the e-commerce group behind global successes like Coco & Eve, which was acquired by a U.S. private equity firm in a multi-million dollar transaction. Sarah also co-founded Sand & Sky, where she led the brand’s rapid global expansion and cult following.

    Lauren is the Finance Director at Glow Capital Partners, bringing over 20 years of experience in financial management, reporting, and strategic support across a range of industries.  Lauren brings extensive expertise as her experience includes Co-Founder and Director of Inline Partners, a chartered accounting firm and has deep expertise in management and board reporting, budgeting and forecasting, KPI development, and statutory compliance.

    Lauren has also held senior finance roles at Lendlease, where she worked across large-scale property development and construction projects, and at Grant Thornton, where she advised a broad portfolio of private business clients across tax, assurance, and advisory services.

    She is a Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting).

    David Bull

    Fund Administration

    David oversees the fund administration for Glow Capital Partners.

    David is the Managing Director of Loftus Group. Over the past 25 years David has worked in private equity finance roles; an initial 6 years as the inaugural Controller in the AMP Private Investments Business Unit in Sydney was followed by 7 years as Director of Finance at Henderson Private Capital in London between 1999 and 2006 and for the past 15 years he has been Chief Financial Officer of Archer Capital.

    David qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse, has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales, holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment, the UKSIP Investment Management Certificate and is a member of Chartered Accountants ANZ and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

    Dominic Tayco

    Compliance and Sustainability

    Dominic is Chair of the Compliance Committee and Convener of the Sustainability Committee at Glow Capital Partners, where he also oversees the firm’s compliance and risk function. His extensive legal, tax, and operational experience, along with his work with large fund administrators, underpins his expertise in designing and implementing robust compliance and risk management frameworks.

    Dominic is the Principal of Thaddeus Martin Consulting, a legal and compliance practice he established in 2020 that consult to private equity managers, helping them integrate compliance, risk, and sustainability frameworks into their organisations. Prior to founding Thaddeus Martin, Dominic spent 15 years as Chief Finance Officer and then Chief Compliance Officer of an international alternative asset manager, where he was also a founding member of the Sustainability Committee. 

    A Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of NSW, Dominic holds Bachelor’s degrees in Business and in Law & Legal Practice from the University of Technology, Sydney.

    Fundraising & Distribution

    Louise is responsible for distribution and developing relationships with financial planners, family offices and high-net-worth clients in Australia for Glow Capital Partners.

    As the founder and CEO of Walsh Capital, Louise has extensive capital raising experience across many sectors. Most recently as the CEO of the Future Generation companies, Louise and her team grew these ASX listed funds by $1bn in assets in just six years. Louise has developed best practice investor and major donor engagement programs throughout her career. Having started her career as a lawyer at Allens, then Head of Sponsorships for the Sydney Olympic Games.

    Louise is widely regarded as one of Australia’s leading philanthropic advisers and is a fundraising expert.
